After Care

-
Please drink plenty of water post-massage to keep well hydrated and assist in the removal of toxins after all types of massage
-
Avoid alcohol or caffeine for at least 12 hours or so after as this will dehydrate your body and won’t help to remove the toxins
-
Plenty of rest after your treatment as you may feel tired or sleepy so, please don’t overdo it especially if you are pregnant.
-
You may be slightly tender for 2-3 days after a deep tissue massage which is normal alongside feeling a little sluggish and headaches this is a good sign that muscle tension has been released and toxins are making their way out of your body, you can use cold and hot alternative to reduce tenderness. Avoid heat if pregnant
-
Try to reduce stress levels as this leads to body tension and discomfort
-
Don’t overeat – as this can quickly eliminate that feel good feeling, instead eat healthy and light foods
