What is manual lymphatic drainage and why is it useful?

Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) has effective cleansing, relaxing, pain relieving and immunological effects. It’s a manual gentle, flowing, rhythmic form of massage. It has many benefits including the following:

  • Aids removal of metabolic waste, excessive water, toxins, bacteria, large proteins from tissue

  • Improves immune system function

  • Aid recovery post surgery - reduce scar tissue formation & risk of infection, swelling and discomfort.

  • Improved metabolism

  • Increase circulation of hormones and so many more.

Courtney likes to refer to it as a massage for all as it can help so many people with so many different health/medical issues. Everyone can benefit from having a month MLD massage! MLD is especially useful for the following:

  • Migraines

  • Sinus Problems, Hayfever & Other Allergies

  • Pregnancy & Post-Natal Swelling

  • Peri menopausal, menopausal or post menopausal
